A Season of Thanks and Giving

This November, as we call to mind or blessings and give thanks for every good and perfect gift, we are also called to give to those in need. Here are a few of the ways that we can help one another:

The St. Vincent de Paul Society at St. Rita is asking for donations of paper goods and nonperishable food items. These are the items most needed: Napkins, Canned Soup, Tissues, Beef Stew, Fluff, Canned Ravioli, Jelly Baked Beans, Syrup Pancake Mix - Donations can be brought to the basket in St. Rita’s Church on November 19th and 20th. Thank you for your continued support!

Would you like to help children who would otherwise be hungry for the 68 hours between lunch at school on Friday and breakfast at school on Monday? So would our 7th and 8th grade religious education students! Please look for labeled bins in each of our churches. Students are accepting the following donations: · gift cards for turkeys, pies, etc. $10, $15 and $25, · instant potatoes, · canned vegetables, · cranberry sauce, · gravy, · stuffing, · muffin mix, · fruit juice, · pickles, · mixed nuts, · pancake mix, · syrup

This year’s Giving Tree at St. Mary Magdalen will benefit children in need in the Tyngsboro Public Schools. We will be collecting $25 gift cards to Target, Walmart, and especially Market Basket! Please return tags and cards to the collection basket at Mass before December 4th.
