Religious Education

Help in sharing our Catholic beliefs, doctrines, rites, and history with the next generation.  Our Religious Education program is supported by an awesome team of volunteers.  Teachers and assistants are always welcomed, and volunteers with children in our program receive a discount on tuition.  To learn more, please contact Cathy Kennedy, our Collaborative Director of Faith Formation at (978) 957-0322 or email saintmarymagdalen@verizon.net.

RCIA

Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults is for those who wish to learn about the Catholic faith and would like to complete their Sacraments of Initiation (Communion and Confirmation).  If you would like to assist in welcoming new members to our Church family, please contact Father Harkins, our Parochial Vicar, at frharkins1340@gmail.com.

Music Ministries

Bring your God-given voice and musical talents to support our music ministries!  With three parishes in our Collaborative, we are blessed with both traditional and contemporary groups.  Vocalists and instrumentals are joyfully welcomed.

Children's Choir:  Join us every week at the 9:30 a.m. Mass at St. Mary Magdalen.  If your child would like to sing or play, please contact Paul Ciotti at pjciotti5323@aol.com.

Sacristans, Lectors, Ushers, and Eucharistic Ministers

Support the Liturgy by preparing the church for Mass and Funeral liturgies, reading Sacred Scripture, welcoming parishioners and guiding the collection, and by helping to distribute the body and blood of Christ to those gathered to worship.  We are grateful for the many members of our Collaborative who devote their time and energy faithfully to these ministries.

Altar Servers

Children in grades 4 and up and adults are welcome to assist the Liturgy as altar servers. An altar server attends to supporting tasks at the altar such as fetching and carrying, ringing the altar bell, carrying the cross during the processional and recessional, among other things.  They are important assistants to the clergy celebrating the Mass.

Liturgy Committee

The Collaborative Liturgy Committee supports the most vibrant and essential part of our Catholic faith - the celebration of the Mass.  This committee focuses on important Liturgical seasons and events, like Triduum and Advent.  For more information, please contact Deacon Everett Penney at e.penney@comcast.net.

Art & Environment Committee

The Art & Environment Committee, comprised of members of each of our beautiful churches, helps to enhance our celebrations and Liturgical season through decorating the inside and outside of each parish. Their work is prayerful and driven by the desire to create a welcoming environment for current and future parishioners.  For more information or to join, please contact Carol Salois at csalois1@yahoo.com.

hospitality ministries

Help to provide refreshments and fellowship after Masses.  Members of this ministry can be found at St. Mary Magdalen after the 9:30 a.m. Sunday Mass and at St. Rita's after the 10 a.m. Sunday Mass.

St. Rita's Parish Committee

The St. Rita's Parish Committee is a group of engaged parishioners focused on improving various aspects of parish life including, but not limited to, fellowship, hospitality, faith formation, facility maintenance, and future enhancements.  The committee meets monthly and promotes these improvements via communication between the pastor, staff, and parishioners.

St. Louis Charismatic Prayer Group

We welcome you to come and join us in the church hall Tuesday evenings in prayer and praising the name of Jesus in scripture and song.  We normally start at 7PM mass followed by the charismatic prayer meetings.

On the 1st Tuesday of the month (with the exceptions of January & August) we have 7 PM mass and a healing service.  (No prayer meeting)

In the winter months the schedule is subject to change due to weather & priest availability.
